Rubtsov, Hagg and a 1st I'd do. Adding more picks and prospects at that point I think wouldn't be worth it for me... any good D you'd try and trade for this offseason?

Trouba's value is high but he's 1 more year away from free agency and he wants out and teams know that so i think it brings his value down a bit.

defenders signed long term possibly on the move: Hamilton, Colin Miller, Savard

I would look for a more reliable goalie option, preferably an aging number 1 that Hart can split the net with 50/50. Flyers will end up ruining another goalie if they play him too much at this age.

That's kinda how I based my initial trade, seeing as other teams have the leverage in this trade for sure. Not saying WPG is gonna take crap, but you can certainly snivel a way to get him cheaper than expected. Edited: Rubtsov, Hagg and a 1st. Love it.

Hart is looking like the real deal, but I absolutely agree. I moreso signed Talbot cheap solely because of his relationship with Carter. Looking at the available UFAs, its either aged and gone G's or overpaying for a guy like Varlamov. Who would you sign, just outta curiousity?

Ryan Miller, Reimer, or possibly could even get mike smith on a short term deal. Would probably have to overpay for Smith, also Talbot could return to form next season and would be a perfect match.

Reimer hasn't really done anything to be veteran experience, Miller I don't mind actually, and Smith I initially had in another one of my teams, but I didn't realize he's 38 and you may be right about the overpayment. Miller and Talbot are legit options, I like that idea.
