Description
Myers takes a discount to stay (his deal involves bonuses after 2 years) I am not sure if you can load a deal with bonuses after a year or 2 but thats what im doing. He could get 6 million elsewhere, but probably not from a contender. He also like WPG so there is that. Am willing to go up to 5.5 if that's what it takes

The following year one of Chiarot or Brodin will be moved along with potentially both of Lowry and Copp. Heres to hoping that AA doesnt earn 6 million lol (injury maybe).

Jets draft Kaeden Korscak with 51 OA. Nolan foote or Lassi thompson are some ideas for 35 OA. Maybe a faller from the first round?

Good eye for RhD! Given their hapless defenses this year, I'm hoping that the Kings draft Lassi Thomson at #22 and that the Ducks (at #29) or the Kings (at #33) pick Kaedan Korczak. But that's just me.

Highly highly doubt the Wild are making that trade, should also be able to remove either Green or one of the picks to move Kulikov. I get you're basing it off the Mason trade but they can just play Kulikov rather then buy him out, two picks plus Green seems a bit excessive. Would also rather keep Spacek, seems like he has potential, would rather send Philly a later round pick if necessary then trade the space man, he plays C as well so would be nice to keep him in the organization.

No it's a very fair deal, Would hate to lose AA's speed. But you've to give to get. And i want Trouba home. This is more then a fair offer. And if Detroit gets Trouba pretty close to what i see happening.

Done deal, Would definitely give up AA+2nd for Trouba. Pretty sure Veleno and Zadina can replace his scoring. Plus whom ever we draft at #6.

Wow I'm shocked, hope I didn't offend you?.. ?
Seriously I think Ehlers-Athanasiou-Laine would make an excellent line!

Thompson is a very good skater from what I have heard. His highlights remind me of a young Hronek. Good shots and great skaters. Good offensive defensemen. However, their defense needs work. Drafting him with 22 may be a stretch and I would rather draft Sieder that high up if you want a RD. Thompson seems more like a high 2nd rounder.
I liked korscak because he plays physical, has a good set of shots, and is good in his own zone. The only reason he isn't higher up is because of his gap control imo. Korscak is strictly a mid-late 2nd imo. He doesn't have the potential that others do but he is a safe pick. You know he has a good defensive game but his offense needs development

Nope not offended in the least, Honestly in a Trouba deal i definitely see AA as a piece we move. Like you suggested Ehlers-Athanasiou-Laine could be a pretty dangerous line.

I strongly agree. Speed and playmaking ability. Not to mention that all three can score. I could write you an entire article of why I love that line

I didn't move spacek and there is nothing about philly. I think you just accidently copied a post from another team.

I will remove a 3rd then from the MTL trade

Why would wild decline?

Well, if you'd spent six months watching Jonathan Quick or John Gibson fishing pucks out of their net, you'd have a greater appreciation for defensive defensemen. Korczak is fine at #33 or #39. Both my local teams have plenty of promising forward prospects. Once they've taken their shots at filling their primary needs at #5 and #9, they should be piling up the defense prospects. I think Seider will be gone by #22.

Oops yeah I was thinking of a Trouba trade on another post.. Lol

Yeah I think that's fair then.

Well Brodin is a top 4 LHD and I don't think Comrie will be that highly rated by the rest of the NHL and doubt Perreault would be valued very much by the Wild given they need to get younger and Maurice's use of Perreault this season hurt his point production.
They'd definitely not retain either, basically I just think a top 4 LHD is gonna cost something better then that.

what if I threw in a 2nd and took our perreault? I would then trade Perreault for whatever return I can get so like a 3rd or 4th

Idk maybe but I'd think you'd need to add a second 2nd or a 3rd, should probably ask some of the Wild fans on here their opinions on Brodin's worth. Could probably get Maata for a 2nd from Pittsburgh, they need the cap space.

Like after adding the 2nd I already did? Maata seems like a cap dump and I don't want to be stuck with that contract

So for brodin, how about Perreault, comrie, 2nd or Comrie, 2nd, 3rd

Probably the second one with Comrie, I'm certain Wild fans on here would tell you Perreault is a cap dump and you gotta pay to get rid of him, I don't agree but that's likely what they'd say.
