If I'm MB, I'm not sold. That's a lot of potential in DLR and a 2nd rounder. Perreault and Stafford constitute a decent 2nd line but not at that cost, My 2 cents.

I think we've seen what DLR is and what he will be. Very solid bottom 6 guy. Unfortunately that doesn't hold much weight. Perreault and Stafford are relatively cheap 20G guys on short term contracts. I truly believe it is WPG that says no to this trade. It also gets us out of the remaining year of Eller's contract. Another 3.5M next year for us to sign big UFA's.

The more i think about it. the more I am all over it if MB was offered this.

Perreault would be an excellent addition on the 2nd wing: over the last 3 seasons he posted possession stats of a top-tier 1st liner.
