Actually not a bad idea, but if the Pulock trade went through what would you think cause Toronto really needs top 4 Defenseman not a bottom 6. But Ho-Sang is over due for a change of scenery.

I don't think the Isles would entertain Pulock to be honest. He was by far our best defenseman this season and looked way more comfortable defensively (his biggest weakness in the past). He just needs to continue working on firing his cannon of a shot on target. The top 3 Islanders this season with shot attempts were all our RHD (Pulock/Boychuk/Mayfield) - this is Trotz's system at work.

I think Mayfield is closer to a top-4 than a top-6. There was a stretch last year where he was our leading point scorer. Definitely stronger defensively as opposed to offense but he isn't a slouch.

Good point and hes got a pretty good contract anyways.

Would definitely make keeping Marner a lot easier
