I'd say Borgman makes the team over Duszak but who knows. Which ever young guy shows the best will likely make the team.

I’ve seen my fair share of Marlies games this year, Liljegren is more lilely than Duszak, and on any other team he would make the team before Borgman but due to the fact leafs lack physicality Borgman will be the one to beat.

He looked not to bad when he was on the team 2 seasons ago. Injuries have hampered his chances lately. Liljegren will make the team soon but I think they may keep him and Sandin in the minors long enough to make them exempt from the expansion draft.

At least that is what I would do.

i believe they will bring sandin and liljegren up as a pair. use then as the 5th and 6th defenceman probably for the 2020-2021 season

I agree and there contracts get pushed to the next year as long as the don’t play.
No matter what next year the team is going to take a hit. But 2020 2021 is going to be a good year, the leafs have 4 really good defencemen prospects, 2 really forward prospects (not including Bracco cause he is going to be on the team next year). Ian Scott was one of the best goalies in the CHL and Woll was one of the best college goalies this year.

Hopefully at least 4 of those pan out. Sandin and Liljegren look good, hopefully 1 of the goalies pans out and maybe a forward. I think the Leafs will lose a guy like Johnsson or someone of that ilk in the expansion draft. Nothing major.
