Also Kappy and Johnsson contracts should be other way around.

Ruzicka is Calgary's best Forward Prospect and Andersson is top 2 D prospect with Valimakki. Not nearly enough to get those guys.

Would switching Kadri and Nylander work better?
If not for Calgary, what else would have to add?

Ah, good suggestion. I will consider it when doing future ACGM.
Thank you

Based on the second half of the season I would agree.
However, Kappy has a shade more NHL experience and is used on the PK where Johansson is not.

With Kappy being the younger of the two, I opted to give him an additional year and up his cap to 3.2 from 2.8.

Johansson deserves a bigger pay raise. Since he turned down 2.3 for 2 years and 2.6 for 4 years I thought 2.8 for 3 years may be more reasonable.

The flames really like andersson and he has shown he has true top pair potential for next year. They are also going to be tight to the cap next season so a trade here may not work. They also don’t have anyone else in the pipe. It would have to be an overpay that Toronto would not do.

I thought it was 2.1m x 3yrs.... either way think he can be signed under 3m so long as you’re flexible on term.

In a previous ACGM I had used Nylander and Liljegren and maybe a 3rd, for Andersson, Ruzicka and Neal with 2.75M retained.
With Neal being a contract they are looking to rid themselves of I figured it would lower the asking price for Andersson.

Otherwise, it's tough to come up with RHD that's not the usual Pesce, Barrie etc

Honestly, I'd like to see him take a 1 yr 2-2.25M deal knowing Marleau is off the books the following year with cap going up again. His chance to really cash in
