I was thinking maybe we do a waiver window here soon. Maybe we don't have to send everyone down right away.
But it keeps the game moving, helps teams get closer to setting opening night rosters
just wondering because as i look through the rosters alot of people already sent the ufas down...
I would like to submit a request that in the waived players thread, you must put the players term and amount remaining on his contract. This will allow other GMs to easily see if they want to claim them.

im gunna piggyback this and say any thread where a transaction occurs, we should put the term and amount of the contract. buyouts/trades/waivers just keep a nice flow that way we dont have discrepancies like there were last year.

I notice no official rule has been put in place for this. Is there a time frame on that or is it a no go?

I'm all for it. I'd urge everyone to do it as a courtesy to your fellow gms. But I don't think it needs to be mandatory. Ppl can't follow simple rules anyway
Can we add a column to the spreadsheet that says status and we put either ltir/minor or on nhl team
Something like that thanks
Maybe something like ltir(retired). But it's mainly to keep track of contracts, w teams, and dollars. So it shouldn't matter. But @phillyjabroni is on top of this one

Like Turner said, we're really only using this to create a larger spreadsheet that will have all the contract information on one page, easily accessible for everyone. Players can fluctuate between being on the NHL/AHL/LTIR that would be hard to update on this spreadsheet and will be reflected on everyone's team page.
How hard would it be to run conferences/divisions like IRL instead of just blank top 16 teams?
I feel like everyone would enjoy that a little more...
Josh brought that up, and wanted to add it. Bog and game trust discussed it. But thought it just made more sense to take the 16 best teams, not 8 n 8 from each conference
