There is no chance in a million years that the oilers do that deal, even if the value is there which I don’t think it is.

I like this deal for Edmonton, if they add a good winger to play with mcdavid that will go a long way to helping them make it back to the playoffs, then have Draisaitl and RNH on the 2nd and they will have two solid lines regardless of who the 3rd guy is on the line, and while Bouchard is good and defence is a need. I don’t think Bouchard is what Edmonton needs, from watching his play this year (7 games) what I’ve seen a strong smart player who does a lot of little things right and slows the game down defensively, what Edmonton needs on the back end though is a high octane offensive defenseman and that is not Bouchard

You're not watching the right Bouchard then.. he's clearly more of an offensive guy that runs a PP unit. He's great in transition and in the offensive zone but needs work defensively. So pretty much the exact opposite of what you said. & that's coming from a guy who's watched more than half of his games this year (so more than 7)

Bouchard runs their PP unit l. Boqvist plays the half boards and he's all offended and very little defence. Bouchard is much better than Boqvist right now. By far

He's better than Boqvist is offensively. Boqvist is the better skater, that's it. Bouchard's outlet pass is better. His vision is better. His shot is better. Bouchard is better. Edmonton needs more guys like Bouchard. He's a right handed Morgan Rielly
