I've no ideas for how to get him back. But let's suppose that they do a trade with EDM that includes Nurse and Lucic. You gotta remember that you actually can't bury Lucic's contract, because of his NMC. Therefore, this idea needs to be changed to make it work cap-wise.

One thing I'd change is that Weal contract. He has played under 50 games and scored just 11 points. He's not worth a $1M contract, let alone a $2,2M one.

Preds need a first line center or equivalent to that. Recently contenders had tend to have one thing in common - they have two 1Cs in the team. Pens with Crosby+Malkin, Caps with Kuznetsov+Backstrom, Bolts with Stammer+Point, Leafs with Matthews+Tavares etc. NSH can't really compare to that with Johansen+Turris. Domi could be a big part of this.

Or Draisaitl, if you want to go hardcore and make this a 3-way trade lol.
