I saw that article and if the pick was anything other than a 1st, it's an awful trade for the Wild. I do think Zucker will be moved in the offseason and with this "trade" I think the Flames are the clear favorites to get him.

According to Michael Russo, The Athletic is still figuring out what the details were and I think a story about it will be out within a week or so. I'm extremely curious why it didn't go through and what the trade actually was supposed to be.

Frolic and a 1st makes sense

IF...if Fenton dislikes Zucker (as a hockey player) as much as I do...maybe he would consider a Frolik for Zucker straight up deal...like I would (consider). I would consider another team taking on Zucker's contract almost compensation enough. Frolik is a decent player, but definitely would not become a part of the Wild's future. A first round pick would be nice, but I would probably consider moving Zucker for a 2nd...if I had a player targeted in free agency. The problem is, it's a very weak free agent class...at least for good fits for the Wild.
