Toffoli just doesn’t get me excited

Even so Toffoli would be a nice complement for Coyle if Heinen were to stay on the 1st line. I just feel like Coyle with a combination of Cehlarik/Kuhlman/Backes will result in the same thing that happened with Heinen playing with JFK/Backes in the beginning of the year.

In addition to his offensive skills (and I think he would be much more productive player on Krejci's wing rather than an aging and slowing Carter), Toffoli is maturing into quite a good penalty killer. He might turn out to be your second-pair forward on the PK.

It does but I'm pretty happy with our current team plus a top 6 wing. If we have get toffoli we dont have any major holes to fill in FA and I dont think we will have issues resigning our FA. I just dont think the extra cap space is worth the premium.

Ig we decide we need the extra cap space its definitely and idea to get it done. I would however be willing to trade a first, a third, and Backes for Toffoli. with the extra 6M we could make an significant upgrade!
