Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

This is my unrealistic dream:

1. Re-sign Chiasson, Puljujärvi and Khaira for reasonable ish amounts

2. Re-sign Stolarz and pray he can be backup

3. Win 2nd in the lottery. Draft Kakko.

4. Dump Kassian at draft. Buyout Sekera.

5. Sign Donskooi...$5.4x5 is pretty rich so this would possibly be a bad move but whatever. Could be some other UFA

Just like that the Oilers have some more wingers! Assuming Kakko can step in and put up 40 points, and if Bouchard or Jones or Puljujärvi can take a step forward then this roster should make playoffs.

Yes, accounting for bonuses. He probably wouldn't get full bonuses but was veering conservative. I suppose they could risk overages and have an additional $3-4M for another winger or backup goalie. That would be even better

If I was unbiased I would 100% agree. But I am biased so I don't care, give me all the prospects. We've only screwed up like half of our top picks, so decent chance Kakko thrives

Unfortunately yes. Chiarelli left this organization in an utterly awful position. So unless we're blowing it all up AGAIN, this is about as good as it gets.

The above roster would actually be in a pretty decent position going into 2021.
