Why would you resign Talbot??

EDM should not sign Talbot again that's horrible, $4.5mil for a bacckup is too much.
They need better goaltenders.

READ THE EXPLANATION. replace talbot with another goalie if you want....just need to ensure we spend to get a decent 1b goalie as I think Koskinen cannot be a starter for 60 games. A 2 million back up will likely suck too......spend to get someone proven. Oilers defence was brutal so that killed goalie numbers too. Remember when Dubnyk had brutal numbers, then played with a good defensive team. Talbot is not terrible every game.....defence was terrible in front of him this year. Like I said, it does not have to be Talbot though....just another goalie who can play 40 games

As a fan of hockey in general, if Edmonton gets another lottery pick, I'll probably end up breaking whatever TV I'm watching the lottery on.

Should be able to sign JP & Khaira for the money you allocated to JP. They haven't earned much of a raise.

Agreed but also as a hockey fan, McDavid not in the playoffs is a sin.
