I think it's basically common knowledge the Bruins are looking to do something big at the deadline. Sweeney was playing it cool when he suggested it would be okay if they did nothing, but even in that statement he suggested he'd really like to make a deal. It also fits Jeremy Jacob's profile to want to make it an extra round in the playoffs and get that extra money. That's really what he cares about the Bruins.... the money they can make, as opposed to the long term growth of his team.
