Parise is a great player but I can't see him waiving and I also can't see a team willing to take his contract given his injury history. I'm speculating here but I'd say he has about 4 more years of solid play since his game is really tough on his body.

Unfortunately, goalies almost never get a good return in trades. I'd be surprised if we got a large return on Dubnyk unless he's packaged with some forwards or D.

We absolutely have to sell this year. This team is not a playoff team. Eriksson Ek, Kunin, and even Greenway at times looked awesome tonight. Our other players, meh. Get a few 1sts this year and try to trade up into the top 5 at the draft (maybe use Zucker as a trade chip along with a later 1st) would be my plan for the rest of the year.

Tonight was pretty ridiculous honestly EK, Kunin and Greenway we’re out best players like what you said I would rebuild for at least 2-3 years get a couple picks and do what Boston did for the 2 years they did to rebuild

thats would be a dream to do what boston did. trade players who needed to be moved but kept majority of the core together which was and is a lot better the the wild have. Love to rebuild and hope it turns around quick but I think a wild rebuild would be a edmonton or buffalo turn around which has taken a very long time and Im not sure the wild could get edm luck think wed be buffalos and be losing spots in the draft. But after all this said we need a rebuild

Bos more retooled than rebuilt (they were still 90p teams). Hitting on Pasta with a late 1st (they won the Presidents Trophy that season) was the biggest difference maker.

They did their trading in the summer, not during the season. Lucic and Hamilton (forced a trade) at the 2015 draft, and then Jones shortly after that. I forget about what happened with the Boychuck trade (2 x 2nds, this probably turns out to be the best trade) right at the start of that 14-15 season. Their highest 1st was 13oa in those 2 years.

Remember they kept Eriksson (his 30g/60p season) and let him walk for nothing because they were trying to make the Playoffs during this time too.
