There is no real reason to make a trade out of desperation for Duchene. Very low expectations for this roster so there’s no reason to mitigate the few valuable pieces the Isles have for rentals.

I dont understand other Islander fans. Lou Nor Barry will break up or trade any of the Martin Cizikas Clutterbuck line. They are too effective for controling the game and in the lockerroom. Yes they make too much money but it is something they will have to accept for the next couple years.

That is a significant overpay on a Duchene rental and Islanders will not move Cizikas in season anyway

Duchene rental = Ho Sang , Aho and a First with a conditional picks for Islanders making ECF/SCF finals or an extension
