Kevan Miller has more value than a 3rd round pick. We've seen the prices that depth defenseman go for at the TDL and he's a very good one. Way too much for Toffoli. You do realize that Toffoli has 2 more goals than Heinen, and 7 more points. Why are we giving up so much for him? Heinen + Zboril is a serious overpayment.

Heinen is on pace for 22 points and Toffoli is already at 20. Toffoli has been a 50 point player in the past and has won two cups, if you want to get something you have to give something, the Kings aren't gonna give him to Boston for a 7th round pick.. ?

If McQuaid = 4th, conditional 7th, #7 Defenseman.

Then Kevan Miller + 6th > 3rd.

The Bruins don't need to add a 6th to get a 3rd for Miller if they trade him to a team needing a top 6 RHD. He's worth the 3rd alone or possibly a 3rd + #7 Defenseman or something else of value as he should carry more value than McQuaid did a year ago if sold in the offseason. If it's at the deadline than he's got even more value than that as he'd probably be >= Nick Holden who cost the Bruins a 3rd + prospect to acquire as a pure rental last season. Miller has another year on his deal and is a comparable player, so he'd likely cost a comparable amount or possibly more given the extra term.

Yes and he's on pace for less then half that this sesson. Toffoli is an established player, they don't come for free.
