As for Bergeron, he’s missed some time this year. When he went down, he was leading the nhl in points. As it currently stands, he is 6th, among Canadian forwards, in points per game. So no, not every single one of those players out produces him. In fact, only 5 do. He would be the best defensive forward on the roster, the top penalty killer, and has undeniable chemistry with Sid and Marchand

I don't look at a guys career when deciding on who would be the best right now. I look at his recent playing history and judge based off of that.

Subban has 18 points in 32 games, as an offensive defensemen, that isn't anywhere close to cutting it.

I will add Drew Doughty simply because of his name, but Spurgeon definitely deserves to be on the team. I put no value on defensive skills on this team. All about offensive skill, which IMO is all that Team Canada should worry about.

The lines up aren't really set, just the players who made the team.
