So, its pretty much Johnsson and a 1st for Faulk and Bean. The rest is a wash. I don't think its a terrible proposal but Faulk is a top 4D. Bean has a top 4 ceiling. So, its tough to do that if youre Carolina unless you get Kapanen or Nylander back in that deal

With the cap space for Toronto... the trading piece need to be Kappy or Nylander (actually Nylander would be the best piece out)

I have no problem with kapanen over Johnsson in any trade. Johnsson is heavily overlooked this year for some reason. His points per game over his time in the nhl is higher than kappy’s and Really isn’t far behind kappy’s pace this year. I think they have similar playing styles kappy is a bit faster though but I think that’s the only real edge. Truth is we have a lot of right handed wingers and I would rather keep Johnson as his cap hit will be a touch lower.

Not the biggest Faulk fan so I don’t like this move. Think this package could get a player with a better fit. Thinking spurgeon with 50% retained easily. Bean is great but may not be needed on a fairly deep left side.
