Going back in time and trading younger assets for older guys leaving their prime (Nylander is 22 and Pietrangelo is 28) isn't evolution. This isn't the time to blow up the roster, let the team get healthy and rolling. Once they consistently play the way they need to play you'll see where exactly they need help.

I don't think that's enough for both of them to be honest. Mostly because there is still term for both of them. But targeting 2 pieces would be smart.

You gotta figure that Pietrangelo would probably cost Nylander+1st (especially with the way Nylander has played since that stupid holdout).

Zaitsev is negative value in my eyes, that contract is bad for pretty much a good bottom pairing guy. Some will argue that, but even if he has a little bit of value, the rest of that should be enough to get Schenn too.

I'm sure they would want at least Nylander and one of Liljegren/Sandin if they're giving you Pietrangelo and Schenn.

Give them Lilijeren and take Marchment back. As seen from Saturday game any defenseman better than the smooth skating Gardner and give the puck away Zaitsev. The problem is Nylander not going to get traded Dubus isn't going to go back on his word. You are looking at the others that will be moved. They are going to make Gardner walk I don't see Bab's really liking him he isn't Lindstrom, Kornwall, Weber, his type of D. Kap will be the one traded if Mathews and Marner ask for top dollar and no discount.
