So you're saying Elias Pettersson is overrated? His stats certainly dont back up your thoughts. Imagine if he was playing on a contending Canucks team, he would be much better. I'd say he still doesn't get the recognition he deserves because hes played his entire junior life in Sweden. Missed a lot of games, and he's still what? Top 20? Top 30? In goals? This kid is something special, and even though I'm a Canucks fan, im certain fans from other fanbases also think so.

Vanek is garbage. Makes 2 creative plays a game and the rest of the game is a liability in both ends. Watch his shifts. It’s hilarious. He looks like he genuinely doesn’t belong in the nhl 90% of the time. Than randomly will make a good pass. Then go back to looking like he is piss drunk

Sorry, im not going to continue with this discussion. I watch every game and this kid brings out the energy in the fans as well as his team. Wait a couple years and see how Pettersson plays, then you can look back at my comment

Vanek not having a great year, but he is fantastic offensively, more of a liability on D. I wholeheartedly agree that he's the most underrated in Detroit, mostly because people see his cap hit and assume that he's not worth it (which is kinda fair, but not really tbh)
