Just saw a report that says Jeff Skinner is looking for 9-9.5$ million on his next contract, that's ridiculous, right?

No. "looking for it" is not ridiculous. A team paying is ridiculous. The Sabres IMO gave up a lot to get a one year rental. Sabres and Skinner have played well this season. Thinking the Sabres will be the team that will pay the most, if nothing else to justify the trade. Skinner has had an up and down career, I don't know if he worthy of premium contract. But good luck to him and his team that signs him next year.

I really can't see why Skinner would want to stay and play for the worst team in hockey. He'd probably have more fun in Tampa even if he did so at a discount.

They couldn't even afford him on a deep discount.
