Description

Oilers get 2 years of Faulk and 1 more year of cheap TT, with RFA rights to sign long term and have young talented scoring winger. Canes get #1 C they've needed and for long term and move TT before he gets paid in the $6.5 mil range after this season. Canes finalize the deal by sending a top D prospect in an organization that has logjam on the blueline and make it more likely to sign Adam Fox (from Calgary trade), who's the better prospect of the two.

Hurricanes get a long term fix for their weakness down the middle, suddenly look strong with combo of Drai, Staal, Necas for next 5 years. If Oilers still need more, Canes could send 3rd pick too.

Yep, my thought exactly. They weaken their centerline to strenghten their D (Bean is going to be a STUD! I ABSOLUTELY love him)...is it worth it? In an age where the center position is SO important??

I think in this scenario, Oilers would move RNH back to center and TT is on the wing of McDavid.

I think you're a little short on value for Edmonton. A fourth element is needed. Maybe better for both teams would be Nugent-Hopkins for Teravainen, Pesce, McKeown and Nedeljkovic.
