Karlsson OUT. Stone OUT. Duchene OUT. In 2 years, the Sens becomes the Quebec No

Description
They get LOTS of picks, lots of young promising players and they go through a proper rebuild. They do it the right way by rebuilding through the draft and developpment of young players. Give them ice time with some veterans to guide them and it might be a quick turnaround of 3 seasons top. They'll need help on defense but offense and goaltending might be real strong in 3 years time!

They relocate to Quebec City before the start of the 2020-2021 season. The forecast for the team, then, will be good and promising. 2 dark seasons are to come in OTT, but by the time the team is moved to QC, things will start to be looking up for them.

They aren't moving the team. if QC gets a team, someone is going to have to pony up several hundred million dollars, same as Vegas and Seattle.

Ok so just because I speculated that the team would move, you rate my whole scenario 1 star?! Are you kidding me? Of all the teams in the NHL, right now, only ONE is likely to be moved in the next 3 To 5 years and that's Ottawa. Everyone knows that Quebec isn't getting an expansion team, but will accomodate a team that relocates because of the team imbalance in each conferences. Seattle is getting an expansion team in 2020, which will settle the conference imbalance and the 32 teams league that owners want. A team will have to move from the Pacific division to the Central (some have speculated ARI might move to Houston, but That's a long shot since they have new investors in ARI and the team is getting better)...and who said I think they won't have to "pony up several hundred million dollars"? Not me, I didn't...I didn't even elaborate on the how and who. What is that answer, anyway?? Any person who wants to buy a team have to "pony up several hundred million dollars", that's pretty much how it works. When you buy something, you pay for it...I mean, what a weird reply and rating you sent me...totally illogical

The team doesn’t look too bad as their are several young pieces that can be complemented with all your first rounders you acquired. I’m happy Sens still got White, Brown, Chabot and Tkachuk. This team won’t be contending for several years though

Ottawa doesn’t deserve a team. If you can’t fill the building in the Conference Finals then you have a terrible fan base.

Aren't moving with all those picks and players. EK, Stone and Duchene are upcoming UFAs, not signed players.

Ummm have you been to Ottawa and seen where the arena is? This is completely illogocal and the Sens have a good fan base and good ticket pricing. The problem is getting to the rink.

Ya I know where it is but that is no excuse to not fill the building for an ECF game.

2018 TDL : Ryan Hartman = 1st + 4th round pick + good prospect / Rick Nash = 1st round pick + Ryan Spooner + prospect + cap dump / Tomas Tatar (not a rental but NOT EVEN CLOSE to being in the same categorie as Duchene Stone Karlsson) = 1st + 2nd + 3rd round pick / Evander Kane = 1st + 4th round pick + prospect / Paul Stastny = 1st + 4th round pick + good prospect / Tomas Plekanec = 2nd round pick + 2 prospects / Derrick Brassard (year & a quater rental) = 1st + 3rd round pick + great G prospect + Ryan Reeves / Michael Grabner = 2nd round pick + prospect.

2017 TDL : Kevin Shattenkirk = 1st + 2nd round pick + great prospect + Brad Malone / Alex Burrows = Jonathan Dahlen / Martin Hanzal + 4th round pick = 1st + 2nd + 4th round pick + prospect / Patrick Raves = 2nd round pick / Ron Hainsey 2nd round pick / Brian Boyle = 2nd round pick + AHLer / Jannik Hansen = great prospect + 4th round pick

Do you need more? Because I can keep going...

Nobody cares if you don't like the fact that teams pay that kind of prices for rentals, the point is that they do, so move along with your no knowledge opinions, please. Also, before stupidily criticizing a carefully thought out ACGM (because every single one of mines are), at least read the descriptions that, in this case, explain and resolve your stupid argument in 5 seconds...I'm so sick of guys like you in here! 99% of people who posts and comments in here takes the time to read and think about the proposition before commenting. It's the other 1% (you included) that bothers everyone here...

OTT averaged over 18k per game for a decade, that changed when melnyk fucked over Alfredsson, the fans want melnyk out and this is the only way to do it by not spending money on the team, forcing melnyk to sell.

the sens had a average attendance of over 18k per game for over a decade ending when melnyk screwed over Alfredsson, the fans want melnyk out and not spending money on tickets/merchandise is the way to do it.

I'm not talking ****. I know a lot about what is going on in Ottawa actually. Location of the arena is a major issue when you have an oversized arena for a small fan base. Even a struggling Senators team would still draw fans to games if the arena was in a better location. There are lots of other factors (Melnyk, corporate sales, etc.) that factor in. And 18K average attendance is nothing to be excited about. It puts you in the mid-range point of the NHL in terms of attendance.

Your whole organization is the laughing stock of the league. You won’t be relevant for a decade...have fun!
