Bozak isnt the worst contract on the blues. Id say it is Steen or Bouwmeester.

I'm counting LTIR contracts, but yeah this list would be different if I wasn't count LTIR, Zaitsev would be for the leafs. The reason LTIR contracts count is because of the Coyotes.

It was tough, Bouwmeester does have an awful contract. Bozak is a 3rd line center for 5 million, yikes.

Marc Staal is easily the Rangers worst...Hank is still a starting caliber goaltender. 8.5 for him may be more than you'd want to pay him, but he was THE REASON we drafted as late as we did. Play + Cap Hit, Staal is far worse than Hank's contract.

You could argue that Price is Montreal's worst contract. Really cripples a team tonhave 10.5 mil goes up in one goalie. Yes Weber is declining but his hit is under 8 mil and he still serves as a top pair guy. Price contract is going to be tough to move as well so that would be my vote.

Montreal has 4 players that you could argue but Weber's term and him being injured for the few months puts him over the top.

Colorado - Soderberg, Johnson or Calvert before Ian Cole

Bottom pairing defensemen shouldn't be making 4.25 million. Johnson decent but injured a lot. Calvert is overpayed by a million. Soderberg is overpayed but only has 2 years left. I watched Cole and he's a bit of an handful.

Watching Cole in the last part of season, he played like a top 4 D. I think he will surprise folks in Colorado.

He played well with the jackets, he didn't play great with the pens last year. I can only watch a few teams in Canada on the east coast and the jackets aren't one of them. I hope your right though.

Nice work Bud! Knowing that for Pittsburgh that's our worst contract I'll take that any day. The Parise till he's 40 payday is brutal. I like Bobby Ryan as a guy but he's way overpaid. The Loui Eriksson deal was brutal the moment that the ink it hit paper. Seabrook deal has ruined the Blackhawks hope for dominance. Just seeing Ian Cole's name with 4 million next to it makes me crack up. BUT the Best one is the latest one in the Tom Wilson deal that is already THE worst contract and it really hasn't even started yet!!! Ha. Nice work putting this together.
