Yeah - that was my initial thought, but I kept (in my opinion) their Better prospects in Donato, Studnicka, JFK, Bjork, Heinen, Vaakaienan & Lauzon Along with Cehlarik & a few others...

I really swapped out two old guys for two better old guys on shorter contracts. Gives them flexibility & I did keep young talent...

They are going to have to move two of Krejci, Backes & Rask to be able to resign their young talent. They are going to have to give up something for a team to take on those contracts.

Trouba is 24 and trade would obviously include extension. Wouldn't do that deal without an agreement.

Just curious who are you not willing to give up in the deal other than Debrusk?

Not sure about that when you take into account Chara and McQuaid likely come off the books next season, plus the cap will likely rise. I think if they can get Backes' cap hit off via trade, they'll be in good shape.

Not sure SJS is going to get rid of Pavs.

I would say krug, Heinen and cehlarik for trouba (extension included). Also that Simmons trade is very interesting. Although I doubt the sharks will give up pavelski.
