It's Vanek. He will put up points...and will get traded at the deadline. But yeah the signing is fine. 3 Mil for a guy capable of 50 points is good.

Secretly was hoping Buffalo would pick him up to play one last year with Pommenville. Good signing by the Wings, has a few miles in him but will rack up points regardless. He could go at trade deadline for a draft pick too as a rental.

I doubt if it's a full NTC. Vanek consistently has played well in his upcoming UFA season. Look for Vanek to be traded at TDL
