Calgary trying to get Lindholm apparently.

This deal would work for CGY, I think. Faulk is definitely a downgrade relative to Hamilton, but CGY might need to add a bit here on the Bennett for Lindholm piece.

That said, Treliving has worked some good deals in the past, and GMs do like to do a matching "roster player for roster player" structure to trades. This being a 2-for-2 fits that bill.

CGY could add to this deal to make it work, if need be with a prospect.

If I’m Calgary theirs no way in hell I do this deal. Lindholm is averaging around 45 points a year, whereas Bennett is both younger and averaging around 30 points a year. Not much of an upgrade their, and certainly not worth downgrading from Hamilton (the highest scoring dman last year) to Faulk. Bad bad trade for Calgary.

Agreed. Maybe Calgary gets a pick and moves into the second round as well?
