I wouldn't do it for Orlov alone. If you add in Eller, who could be a 2nd line center on some teams, and proven it in the playoffs, and DJoos, who's a young defenseman who could be top 4 in the future, the caps don't have any need to give up those assets.

no I can read, have you no knowledge of "ufas" caps aren't trading elder and Orlov for AA. If caps sign green as UFA, and need cap space they just trade Orlov or eller, they don't have to trade to wings for a ufa.
