Be careful she likes to back out on deals after agreeing to them
What do you mean "agreeing" to them? You don't need to just point that out for everyone to see. I haven't noticed her backing out on deals very often, and there's no problem with that as long as there's no official agreement. I think people need to remember that the trades per month limit actually means something. You can't just say "it's a deal next month" and post it as soon as the clock hits midnight ET to begin the new month. If i understand correctly, both teams need to officially agree on the deal and confirm with each other that it's a deal in the new month. Otherwise what's the point of the trades per month limit? Yes, it has to do with when the player can count for the team's stats, but in the summer, there's no other reason for the monthly trade limit other than what i just mentioned. I don't mind the monthly trade limit. I actually like it. I think i am understanding it correctly.
It would be annoying if I'm talking with a team and they say "we'll do it on the 1st of [month]" and then take it back once it gets to the new month, but teams are allowed to do that, as long as they know it could stop other teams from wanting to trade with them. For me, that doesn't mean I'd never trade with them again, but I'd be extra careful when trying to trade with them, and it might take a few months (or longer) before i ignore what happened in the past and just act like it never happened when trying to discuss a trade with that team. But if a teams wants to do that, they can. Any team can "back out" of a deal whenever they want as long as the deal hasn't been made official. I don't like it when teams do that, but they are allowed to.
I haven't noticed Icegirl backing out of deals she agrees to. I can't actually think of any GMs who do that (it has happened, but i can't think of any who do it frequently). I have said i might do many deals in the past after talking about the details, but I don't remember ever saying "okay, we'll do the deal next month" and then backing out.
I didn't actually know this post would be as long as it is. I just want to make sure i'm understanding the rule correctly, because in the past, teams have posted deals before confirming with me about them. I also want to make sure everyone else understands the rule.
