As far as other people backing out, it rarely happens what makes this that much more frustrating since not even the pos GM's did that

I can't really say anything about the deal you tried to make with her because I didn't see the discussion, what the deal was, or when it happened. With what you've said, I don't have a problem with her backing out of the deal. But I don't know much about what happened and knew nothing about it before today, so I can't really comment on that.

So you're saying if I were to say "Hey raif Ill trade you McDavid for Barzal and a 5th" and then you agree on the condition that we hold off for a few days while I look for another deal involving different players. But then I come back and say "I changed my mind, sucks to suck"

That's not what happened. At all. I clearly said I could only do that deal if I were to flip somebody else. But I really can't flip that somebody else; the other GM I was talking to about that deal didn't seem super interested anyway. I didn't back out.

That's the thing. It was a deal if (and only if) I could do that other move. The other guy didn't really want to do it, and as I said on Twitter before you blocked me, it wouldn't have been smart to do that other move anyway.

I tell people I accept and they can post, or that I will post if they accept.
That's your chance to pump the brakes. If I give you permission to post or you give me permission to post, once the post is made, it's official.
I also do it on the forums, so it's public record. If someone does something sketchy, they are at least doing it in front of everyone.

As far as I'm concerned, if you want to do secret Twitter things, keep them on Twitter. If you don't want people seeing your conversation when it's convenient to you, don't come whining when it ends up being inconvenient.

IMO it's until the trade has been officially agreed on and confirmed by both teams, unless i'm misunderstanding the rule.

I don't know what others think but I might suggest a rule that says all deals must be finished on CF. I'm not suggesting removing Twitter/Email discussion from the game, but maybe the deals should all be confirmed on CF just so we all can see if the deal was agreed on by both teams. I don't think there's anyone in the game who would lie about the other person agreeing, but it might be good to be able to see how the deals were completed just in case there's any misunderstanding.

What do you think? Does anyone like the idea?

Ive always been for doing stuff through CF, but I think I speak for most when I say Twitter is so much easier since
1. Its private so you dont havr people undercutting your offers
and
2. Except for a certain few *cough* @A_K *cough* you cam see when the other person has seen your offer so you know they aren't purposely ignoring you

I'm not suggesting removing Twitter discussions completely, I'm just suggesting that all deals are confirmed/completed on CF. Just an idea though, and it's fine the way it is. I'm just suggesting this as a possibility.
