Yes, even though Provorov had more points than Werenski this season while averaging less PP time and D men are harder to find than wingers. Also, Provorov was tied for most goals by a d man this year.

Werenski had produced 48 pts as a rookie Dmen last season. This year, he wasn't that good I admit it but in terms of potential, I think (this is my opinion, some people would say so, other not) Werenski is better. Provorov is a beast too tho.

Most people I talk to say Werenski is more of a #2 guy, while Provorov is a #1 guy. But yeah, both are really solid d men who fit well on their team.

People in front of him are simply putting more points. He is an incredible player but there is no guy on top of him (in my opinion) that is less good than him.

Its a weird to see Marner and Hannifin drop considering the players they are. Although, I can't say I disagree with the order. This draft has a very strong top 10.
