Man, Steve Yzerman better hold up on the “Nobody is getting paid more than our Captain” thing, or else this is gonna be a rough summer. Just to be clear, I KNOW HE IS WORTH MORE, WAY MORE!!! But there’s a reason Hedman isn’t getting 9+.

I don’t know what contracts Arizona has to resign this particular offseason, but this trade can be done with any team who’ll take the contract for the last year. They really don’t need to do it, it’ll just give them some flexibility.

They should look into moving Johnson and Kilorn as well to make sure they can get Vasilevsky and Sergachev.

Do you think Kucherov will get the message, and take the same pay as Stamkos? Personally, I don’t, but that could mean that he’s on the move from down south.
