Five stars for taking O'Reilly

I know Sabre fans will think I am blasphemous, but not much of a difference between Galchenyuk. Benn is a 7th/8th defenseman, McCarron seems to be an AHL player, then a second. IMO just a bit more coming back because Benn and McCarron do not move the needle.

Not arguing for the trade because I don't really want ROR in Montreal, at least not for Galchenyuk. I think Chucky needs a new home, but ideally one that's far, far away from Montreal. Agree on Benn being a plug. McCarron could still thrive in some different systems if played exclusively on the wings, but it's a risk. Julien seems to have made up his mind that he won't adapt to use McCarron differently.

I know all trades a gamble, but I do not want to take a chance on McCarron, but then again I may be missing a great opportunity.
So many Sabre fans think the Pens would need to add to a O'Reilly for Crosby trade. TBH if Bergevin were to offer the 3rd over all for O'Reilly, Botterill would have to think a long time before he would reply. First, Svechnikov or Zadina could be in the NHL next year, second he dumps $7,000,000 of cap, third Mittelstadt will made a good 2nd line center making O'Reilly either a very over paid 3rd line center or a piece that needs to be traded. But to suggest Galchenyuk and Zadina for O'Reilly is ridiculous .
