Habs management would not been intuitive enough to draft Debrincat and Krys. I can't remember the 2018 TDL and you want me to remember the 2016 TDL.

I was not inferring that we should trade for Danault and our pick, I was just showing how bad of a trade it was in hindsight.

Oh for sure. I’m gonna have to do a teams where I undo every single trade the Hawks made (EXCEPT THE ANDREW SHAW ONE ?) and then redo it to a team that I’d like to have.

If he was such a can't miss....why did go in the second round? There are always a ton of high scoring juniors, who never make a mark in the NHL.

He wasn't picked because of his size, not because of his talent level. If he was 6'1, he'd have been drafted top 5.
