It probably won’t be able to compete with other offers we get but it’s a possibility. Let Montreal know it’s an offer we will consider. Also, as you saw, i put a waiver claim in on Derek MacKenzie. We don’t have much at the center position so i figured it’d be a decent cheap depth grab.

Ok I will tell Montreal that we will consider his offer and ya, I think that is a perfect depth addition to the team!

Just letting you know, LA Kings have asked the price on Sorenson and Harington. I told him the same thing you told Taboopenguo, a mid-ish round pick for Sorenson. And I told him to make an offer on Harrington.

Detroit says that if we came up with a blockbuster trade, he would be interested in Sorenson, but only for AHL depth.

NYI expressed past interest in Sorenson, I'll circle back to them about something involving him probably.

Buffalo is looking to drop some cap dumps, maybe we could take on some cap and get a pick also.

Were pretty tight to the cap as of now so we could make something work but it’d be close. Also placed a waiver claim on Alex Barre Boulet, top QMJHL scorer as of now. Worth the risk of losing the monthly waiver claim imo.

I like the options it gives us on defense. As a Jackets fan, Murray is one of our best defenseman when healthy. Just been bitten by the injury bug a lot.
