was just about to say the same thing - WAY OVERVALUE on Lindgren - seriously a 1st? for an undrafted, unproven AHLer?

I wont say that he over-evaluate Plek. The guy has the same profile that Antoine Vermette had in 2015 when Phoenix trade him to Chicago and PHO receive a 1st round pick + Dahlbeck.

No one will trade is 1st pick.
Ask Bennett in Calgary for Lindgren & 2nd: If Cgy need some depth as a goalie they will say yes.
Pleky: OK for a 2nd but you will need to retain salary if you trade him now.
MTL won't give away a first round pick if they can get an extra one. Pacc+ a second should get you RNH
For Marchessault... Not sure frankly! seems alot (3 for 1) but not enough asset for (2prospects + High draft) I would ask for better young one like Lekohnen + Scherback/Carr... not JDLR
But if Vegas wants to stay in the run... I would ask for Shaw + Scherback for a 30goals scorer

Lindgren I agree. As good as he is, no team would drop down from a 1st to a 2nd just to add Lindgren.

Plekanec not worth a 2nd rounder though?..... I keep hearing this and I keep telling people. Stop making up fictitious ideas in your head. YES he is worth a 2nd rounder. All you have to do is look at previous years TDL and see other players who were traded for 2nds and 3rds......... Brian Boyle was traded for a 2nd and a prospect last year. Plekanec based off of that is easily worth at least a 2nd rounder. Its not f*cking rocket science! Plekanec is still a useful NHL'er, he's just not a 6M player anymore. That's all. Don't confuse overpaid with not worth anything. He's still a decent player!

I get it. Im not sold on the guy either but Marchessault is a point a game this year and had 30 goals last year. Lehkonen is 100% without a doubt <<<<<< Marchessault. Leky is good but lets not exagerate either. He'll more than likely never be better than Marchessault already is.....

Marchessault have 12goals & 31points right now with Vegas... I like Lehkonen but he is not there yet! Lehkonen + Scherbak + pick look fair to me.
