very interesting!! I think it could work. I like having a right shot on every line, so I agree with playing Ryan on the right side. With so few right shots on the team, we can't afford to play him on the left side. And he has played with Pageau in the past, and not badly. It would be interesting to see what that top line could do. I anticipate Colin White coming up at some point, and I would play him with Smith and Dingel, on that third line. I would switch the D pairings a little. I would move Phaneuf to play with Chabot, and let Claesson play with Ceci. I like Harpur with Karlsson. I would leave those pairing be for a while, and only change things if injuries happen. I see this as the best options going forward this season. Oduya and Burrows can still be effective but only in spot start roles.

I would replace Harpur with Claesson... Also I don't really like Dumont, but until White comes back these looks really good.

I think harpur has the ideal frame to play with Karlsson. Ih he develops well he could become a Methot++.
