While I mostly agree, I do see the defense as slightly better. Green, Daley, and DeKeyser are second-line defensemen. I'd have a harder time arguing if any of them are a third defenseman over fourth though.
The biggest problem with both the offense and defense is the lack of a single star. They have plenty of primary to secondary scorers in offense but not the one or two that are putting up the big numbers - the elite of the team so to say. They have defensemen that can put in a solid supporting role or good defensive games here or there, but they don't have an offensive specialist or great shutdown defender. It's a team of good-ok-subpar and lacking that elite-good-ok-couple of fringe makeup that's needed to be successful. Last description: great depth but no standouts.
