Description
Just a fun roster if everything just fell into place perfectly for the Avs based on some rumours and speculation on trade bait and their values.

1. Skinner is on the market for a 1st round pick and a prospect. Not sure the level of prospect but I tossed in Kamenev as he is an NHL ready prospect and a pretty decent one.

2. Barrie to the Oilers is not a new rumour but apparently they are sniffing around on what Barrie again. Avs dont need to trade Barrie so they make Chia over pay by adding in that 10th overall pick since Klebom came off "a bad year" so his value is perceived down. Already speculated they might go big game hunting with this package, so why not.

3. Draft board unfolds and Noah Dobson falls to 10. Not that out of the question he gets to that pick so with Oilers trade, Avs add another RHS dman to fill the organization spot.

4. Avs have a lot of cap space so they enter the Carlson bidding war and come out as the champ.

Whatever the oilers do this offseason, they are going to over pay, I think they are really screwed with how their roster is set up and the cap space they have currently. Not a lot of cap space or trade pieces to do the over haul that they need

his moves dont make any sense...they trade 2 scoring wingers to help solve their D and defensive issues. Now they still need to fix their D issues and get scoring depth on the wings.
