For Grubauer the value is right but I don't think he fixes anything. You ideally want someone who's proved the can start. I just have a fear Grubauer will be the next Darling.

Also Hanifin will want more then 4.5 for 5 years and Lindholm on a 7 year deal? Maybe you got that the wrong way round, but Hani will want more term and money. Lindholm is an overpayment for too long

Maybe Tavares isn't practical for the Canes, just look at the cap. Maybe Stastny.

When I see this post, the Canes have 6m in cap space (new figures) with a roster of 20.

I meant IRL. They have loads of capspace anyway and a lot of UFA's and RFA's they can just let go. They probably shouldn't in this senario but I doubt the sign another goaltender.
