Lmao you really don't get it.
Carolina wants Zadina over Svechnikov because of the chemistry with Necas, so they might aswell get a little bit of value back while still drafting the guy they want....

I don't agree with you on Pacc... the value is there, but all teams need to protect themselves with 2019 1st if he goes after and 3rd if he sign... something like that can be added easily but overall... the trade is fair.

but the trade always included roy, a former first rounder to move DOWN one spot. doesn't happen. canes get ripped so much in that deal. it seems to be a theme with habs that can get pick in the teens, a prospect and more for max. sorry completely unrealistic, but hab fans seem to just want to out do one another on such poor trade for any team not named montreal.

Janmark is 25 years old, huge teen there....look at some past deals for 30 goal scorer left wing and then compare the value will ya????
