Maybe they can salvage a 3rd round draft pick in exchange for Rick Nash. He's got no goals and one assist in his last 12 games. That's getting your $7.8 million worth!!!

I really think they can get a late 1st for him. Especially if the asking price for Kane is a first, a prospect, and roster player. I get he isn't producing like he used to/should with the 7.8mil contract but he does so many other things well. And if you retain 50% he looks even better.

I see this all the time"The asking price". Means nothing. It's the trading pice. Maybe Nash might get a late first rounder for a contender that is really in need of a winger at TDL. Nash's playoff record and his current trade certainly reduces any trade value, unless a contender has injuries.
