I can't see the caps including Strome in any trade. Great contract and continues to get better. However I do want to acquire Marner no matter the cost. Would you replace strome with a 1st and cristall?

Also agree - can't see Strome being added - too good of a contract and has thrived with WSH
Would be fine with a 1st and Cristall. Another idea owuld be McM and some other pick (2nd? Idk).

I think the organization wants to hold onto McMichael and I do too. He showed some flashes of brilliance this year and I think if you are patient with him, you'll have a 25 goal scorer who can play both ends of the ice and drive possession.

Agree that Strome is staying. If it was Jensen, Lindgren, Cristall, and a first, I would be fine with the trade value wise, but am very concerned about the goalie situation going into the season if they don't do something to address it. Kuemper-Stevenson tandem is worrisome.

Yeah I agree - I have no idea how you would fix that either...

Almost like Lindgren is "untouchable" (that word is thrown out there a lot and is rarely true, which is probably the case here, but most likely it would take an incredible offer to trade him)...

If someone wanted to throw a first round pick to the caps for Lindgren, I think they'd have to take that. I love Lindgren, but his value will never be higher than it is right now. You could try and re-sign him in the 25 summer if you want him back at that point. But yeah the goalie situation is f'ed if they don't figure something out to replace him in that scenario.
