Love what he's done for Dallas in his career, but there's no reason at all for Dallas to sign a 40-year old Pavelski to a two year contract. IF he doesn't retire and Dallas decides to bring him back (which is a MASSIVE "if" at this point), then he'll get a 1-year deal and I'd be shocked if he made the same money he made this year.
Also, no shot Nill is handing out a 3-year, $2.5M AAV contract to Lundkvist. DeBoer refuses to play Lundkvist because you can't trust him on the ice. He's atrocious defensively & his puck possession is too suspect to trust him in key offensive situations. At this point, Dallas is more likely than not to just let him walk during Free Agency this year. And if they do bring him back, it will be on a short deal worth half of what you have him making here.
