The Andersson trade seems about right. I'd be hoping for that 26' pick to be in the low teens.

Love the player, but I doubt he's going to help the Flames when we get competitive again.

If that was the 6th overall pick, then I think the trade favors the Flames. You'd have to get rid of 2 x 2nds IMO.

For sure I'd do that. 6th + 9th means we have a good chance of landing Iginla and though I don't agree with the pundits on Lindstrom dropping out of the top 5 (or even the top 3) who knows maybe they're right and he'll still be available then. If Lindstrom is still available then take him. Tij won't be avaible at 9th but Carter Yakemchuk (IMO the best future Andersson replacement in this draft) might be and if not there should be another pretty good defenseman available.
