Ooof thats a ton to give up for Schmaltz. I get you see the 61 points but a lot came from playing over 3 minutes a night on the pp and over 14 min at 5v5 which he would get much much less than that on a better team like NYR.

Goodrow is a cheap buyout candidate this summer, and Kakko has more value to NYR so no real reason to trade him (unless he asks out) because his cap hit will be team friendly again and his on ice play is at worse slightly above average.
