*Free Agents*
I decided not to go all in as this team will likely still be very bad, but getting bedard and reichel some help wouldn't hurt soul. Stamkos can play that right side giving bedard help and also be a dangerous option for him on the PP, you do have to overpay to get him to come likely but I think he'd work out great here especially short term. If he doesn't who cares. Hall coming back helps the playmaking Bedard's been missing and can really elevate that line.

As for the others, I think Noeson is a really quality depth piece (kinda like donato) who can play anywhere in the lineup and give quality minutes. Again, you might have to overpay a little for him to sign at that age like Stamkos but it's no big deal at all to Kyle.

Finally DeMelo is one of the best defensive defencemen in the league this year and with connor murphy being shaky I think he could really stabilize the blue line and finally get korchinski some help on the back end. (You could pay him more than 4m, again not really a big deal, give him 3 years if u need)

All of these players could be potential assets at the end of/ during their contracts so I also had that in mind when signing them as all of them would be pretty easy to trade with retention.




*Re signings*

Give vlasic a contract similar to lots of other players in his situation (Around 3.5-4.5 range) but don't outright give him 8 years, 6 is way more manageable in this situation to where you can keep him forjust up until you're contending for a year or two and then make another decision there if it does/doesn't work out.

Reichel hasn't performed well but has been much better after getting called back up. Love to give him another shot and see what he has for 2 years.

Rest -Irrelevant roster fillers only signed the ones I like/ the organisation does. Blackwell is a solid forward that got some trade interest, solid complimentary piece to round out that depth but not exactly necessary. I think Anderson too is a quality depth piece that can play AHL or NHL wherever you want him, Guttman has some upside and Stauber might be ready for a limited use NHL job like last time, if not just sign someone else i cant bear to watch soderblom for another season he's ass.
