Who is Philly looking at

My guess is that Philly would want that 2nd from Montreal in any deal for Walker. Unless they get a talent like a Lambert. They have a ton of RWs in the system. I'm not sure why but Torgersson feels like someone Philly would want. They have a need at center and I'm sure that Lundmark would be of interest to Jonesy.

Maybe, the ask for Walker is reportedly a 1st or a high 2nd and a solid prospect. So I don't think a late 2nd a year from now would be enough to persuade Philly to move Walker. They reportedly won't trade him unless they get what they want. I guess it helps that they could just keep him for the Playoff push.

They aren't keeping him so getting a 2nd next year from a team that may not be as successful as this year. Mtl 2nd is not available unless it's a player with term

I understand your point, but the fact is Philly can justify keeping him for the playoff push and then either resign him or trade his rights. And if that 2025 2nd is the best pick they are offering then there needs to be a much better prospect coming back.
