Are Sharks making a run for the cup? what's the worth of a 31 year old winger with a 9 mil cap hit for another 3 and a half year to a rebuilding team, and giving up young depth players for him.

BUF seems interested in moving EJ, but COL is not the place. Doesn't address a need and further strains an already tough cap situation (even with retention) to make more necessary moves.

If it was like one more year on his contract sure, but three more after this is terrible. Sharks won't have issues getting to the cap floor.

They could get value for those guys, and more importantly, they need them for the Cuda.
